At Get My Energy Reports, we specialise in producing Energy Performance Certificates and Display Energy Certificates, aiding buildings in their journey towards enhanced energy efficiency.

Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) are the Government’s designated method for adhering to the Energy Performance of Building Directive (EPBD). Their objective is to assess the energy efficiency of a property. The certificate assigns a rating for energy efficiency and CO2 emissions on a scale from A to G, where A signifies high efficiency and G signifies low efficiency.
EPCs are generated using standardized methods and assumptions regarding energy consumption, enabling straightforward comparison between buildings of similar types. This empowers potential buyers, tenants, owners, and occupants to evaluate energy efficiency and associated fuel costs, aiding in informed decision-making regarding investments.
Each EPC comes with a recommendation report, detailing cost-effective measures and other strategies (including low and zero carbon generating systems) aimed at enhancing the building’s energy rating. Additionally, the certificate includes information regarding the potential rating achievable if all recommendations were implemented.
Display Energy Certificates (DECs) have been obligatory since 2008 for publicly funded buildings accessible to the public. These certificates analyse energy consumption to compute an operational rating for the preceding year, factoring in variables such as hours of use and size. Buildings exceeding 250m² require a DEC certificate, which must be prominently displayed in colour and at a minimum size of A3.
